FLANGE MOUNTED

Flange Mounted Comminutors mount directly in-line with the pipe system via standard flanged connections, making them the most common choice for enclosed force main and lift station installations. They handle flow rates from small municipal lift stations up to large-capacity treatment plants with minimal hydraulic head loss.

VERTICAL DISCHARGE

OPEN CHANNEL

Open Channel Vertical Discharge Comminutors are designed for installation across an open sewage channel, intercepting the full flow stream and discharging macerated solids vertically back into the downstream channel. They are well-suited for primary treatment plants, pump stations with overflow screens, and high-flow applications.

HORIZONTAL FLOW

OPEN CHANNEL

The Horizontal Discharge — commonly called the “Toilet Seat” configuration — sits across an open channel and discharges macerated material horizontally to the side rather than vertically. The compact, low-profile design makes it ideal for shallow channels and installations with limited overhead clearance.
